When production of the movement stopped, the components, together with their technical drawings were stored and forgotten. The bridges, main plates, escapements, and balance springs were retrieved, and they will be the core of 19 new movements. The barrel, mainspring and gear train are also being recreated in order to meet the modern demands. The movement will feature a pattern that was used in the manufacture during the early 20th century. The movement will be enclosed in a half-hunter gold pocket watch with a crown at 3 o’clock. The first pieces are expected to be available by the end of 2019.
Only 19 pocket watches are available, and Mido Replica Watches's popularity is at its highest. However, there will be one more release to celebrate the brand's 125th anniversary: the De Ville Tresor Anniversary Edition. The 40mm yellow gold case is adorned with an enamel dial that, for the very first time in Mido Replica Watches's history features the red livery. A deep red strap completes the look.
